Used and Forgotten: A Tale of Silent Pain

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, where echoes cry,
A heart once bright now left to die.
The hands that reached, now cold and gone,
A soul abused, left all alone.

The promises, like whispers thin,
Were broken fast, and sealed within.
The trust once whole, now shattered glass,
A fragile dream that’s come to pass.

They took the light, they stole the spark,
Left empty shells, a fading mark.
A silent scream, unheard, unseen,
In the twilight of what might have been.

Yet still she stands, amidst the pain,
With hope to rise, to feel again.
For hearts may break, but they can mend,
And find new strength around the bend.
