The Whispering Wind in Moonlit Nights

Poetry Image

In the hush of a moonlit night,
The whispering wind takes flight,
Through the trees it softly glides,
A secret path it quietly hides.

Beneath the stars, the world seems still,
As the wind dances with a will,
Leaves rustle in a gentle embrace,
Nature’s song, a tender grace.

Shadows play on the forest floor,
An ancient tale they seem to implore,
Of love and loss, of dreams once had,
Carried by the wind, both happy and sad.

And as the night gives way to dawn,
The whispering wind moves on,
Leaving behind a silent trace,
Of its journey, a fleeting grace.
