The Whispering Shadows of Midnight Monsters

Poetry Image

In the moon’s eerie glow, they silently creep,
Monsters of midnight, from the shadows they leap.
Eyes that glisten with a malevolent gleam,
Haunting the corners of a child’s restless dream.

Silent whispers echo through the cold night air,
Chilling the heart with a sinister flair.
Claws and fangs, hidden in the murky mist,
Each step they take, a deadly twist.

Beneath the bed, or in the closet’s dark,
They lurk and wait to leave their mark.
Fear grips tight as the night unfolds,
In the presence of monsters, the brave turn cold.

Yet as dawn breaks, they fade away,
Monsters of midnight, no longer hold sway.
But in the shadows, they always remain,
Waiting for darkness to rise again.
