The Whispering Blanket of Winter’s Embrace

Poetry Image

The whispers of frost greet the dawn,
A silvery tapestry upon the ground,
Trees dressed in white, silent and withdrawn,
As snowflakes waltz without a sound.

The breath of winter paints the air,
Cold and crisp, yet strangely warm,
Stars alight in the sky so fair,
As the night wraps us in its calm.

Footsteps crunch on icy paths,
Leaving trails that soon will fade,
Underneath the winter’s wrath,
Nature’s beauty serenely displayed.

In the heart of this frozen scene,
Lies a quiet that speaks to the soul,
A season’s end, a world serene,
Where the chill makes every spirit whole.
