The Weight of Worry: A Mind’s Endless Anchor

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, shadows dance around,
Thoughts like whispers, circling without a sound.
The mind, a restless sea, waves of worry roll,
Anchored to doubts that slowly take their toll.

Every ticking second, a pendulum of fear,
What ifs and maybes, all too near.
A tapestry of concerns we weave so tight,
Making mountains from molehills in the absence of light.

Yet in the chaos, a small voice softly pleads,
To find the calm beneath the worry’s weeds.
For in the heart of storms, peace can still be found,
If we let go, allowing worries to unbound.

So breathe deep, release the chains that bind,
Let the tides of thought gently unwind.
In the stillness, find the courage to see,
That beyond the worry, there lies serenity.
