The Weight of Unspoken Battles

Poetry Image

Beneath the surface, shadows creep,
In silent whispers, secrets keep,
A heart weighed down by unseen strife,
The quiet turmoil of a life.

In daylight’s glare, a painted smile,
Conceals the pain, if just for a while,
The world sees not the inward cries,
Nor the tears that fall from weary eyes.

Sleepless nights and restless dreams,
The mind entangled in endless schemes,
Searching for peace in a stormy sea,
Longing for a day to simply be free.

Yet hope remains, a flickering light,
To guide the soul through darkest night,
And though the journey may be long,
Within the heart, there lies a song.
