Beneath the sky so vast and gray,
My heart feels heavy, night and day.
Dreams once bright have lost their way,
In shadows deep, they fade away.

The stars above seem out of reach,
Their distant light no longer teach.
A hope once strong now starts to breach,
As darkness whispers its cold speech.

The roads ahead, they seem to twist,
Through mists of doubt, they do persist.
A future blurred, a past dismissed,
In endless night, I now exist.

Yet somewhere deep within my soul,
A spark of light, a distant goal.
Though hopelessness may take its toll,
I search for strength to make me whole.
