The Weight of Silent Sorrows

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the twilight hours,
Where shadows stretch and sigh,
The whispers of forgotten dreams
Drift softly through the sky.

Beneath the moon’s gentle embrace,
A heart feels every ache,
Each memory a tender trace
Of smiles that slowly break.

The stars that dot the velvet night
Reflect a lonesome plea,
For solace in the endless flight
Of time’s relentless sea.

Yet in this melancholy haze,
A fragile hope does gleam,
That dawn will bring brighter days,
And mend the broken dream.
