The Weight of Silence: A Journey Through Solitude’s Embrace

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, shadows softly creep,
Whispers of the wind, secrets that they keep,
Alone beneath the moon, a soul begins to weep,
Longing for a touch, a connection deep.

The stars above shine bright, yet feel so far away,
Each twinkle a reminder of a distant, lost day,
The emptiness inside grows with each passing ray,
As loneliness sets in, in its cruel, silent way.

In the echo of my thoughts, memories replay,
Faces from the past, that time led astray,
Hopes and dreams once vivid, now in disarray,
As I navigate this night, waiting for the break of day.

Yet in the depth of solitude, a strength begins to bloom,
A resilience in the heart, pushing through the gloom,
For in this space of silence, there’s room to assume,
That even in loneliness, love will find its room.
