The Weight of Invisible Chains

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the night, shadows loom so tall,
Whispers of doubt echo through the empty hall.
The mind’s restless dance, a relentless tide,
A storm of thoughts, nowhere to hide.

Hearts race with the unknown fear,
Eyes wide open, yet vision unclear.
Breathing shallow, trapped in the mire,
A soul yearning for peace, yet caught in the fire.

Days blur, a haze of constant dread,
In the silence, loud voices are fed.
Hands tremble, seeking solace in vain,
As invisible chains bring unending pain.

Yet in the darkness, a spark may glow,
A gentle reminder that strength can grow.
With each breath taken, a step towards light,
Breaking free from the chains, reclaiming the night.
