The Unseen Weight of Silent Agony

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, pain whispers low,
A shadow cast by moon’s gentle glow.
It lingers in the corners of the mind,
A silent scream that no one can find.

Beneath the surface, the ache takes hold,
Stories of sorrow left untold.
It weaves through dreams with threads so thin,
And carves its mark deep within.

Eyes that smile, a heart that weeps,
Secrets the soul forever keeps.
The world sees joy, a bright facade,
Yet pain endures, an unspoken rod.

Through the days and endless nights,
Pain dances in the absence of light.
A ghostly partner in life’s cruel game,
Seeking solace, whispering a name.
