The Unseen Chains of Gender Bias

Poetry Image

In shadows deep where silence dwells,
A voice is stifled, unheard yells.
The weight of words, the pain they bring,
Unseen chains that cruelly cling.

She walks a path both rough and steep,
A climb where dreams and hopes must weep.
For every step, a thousand stares,
Judging eyes and whispers’ snares.

In boardrooms grand and stages bright,
Her worth questioned, dimmed her light.
Yet still she rises, fierce and proud,
Her spirit strong, her voice unbowed.

For in her heart a fire burns,
A call for change, a world that turns.
Where gender’s grip no longer binds,
A future free for all mankind.
