The Tragic Tale of Medusa’s Gaze

Poetry Image

In shadows deep where serpents weave,
A maiden cursed, whose heart does grieve.
With eyes of stone and hair of snakes,
Her silent tears form endless lakes.

Once beauty’s queen with golden locks,
Now turned to stone by cruel fate’s knocks.
Her gaze, a weapon, unforeseen,
A tragic tale in twilight sheen.

Beneath the moon, alone she cries,
Her sorrow hidden in the skies.
A myth, a legend, she remains,
Her heart forever bound in chains.

The whispers tell of her despair,
A warning to those who dare.
Approach with caution, heed her sighs,
For Medusa’s gaze never lies.
