The Ties That Bind Us Close

Poetry Image

In the quiet moments of childhood’s grace,
We wandered fields, our laughter a soft embrace.
Cousins in name, but siblings in spirit,
Together we grew, our hearts ever near it.

Through summer days and winter’s chill,
We shared secrets, dreams, and the thrill.
Of endless adventures, both big and small,
In each other’s company, we found it all.

Years may pass, and paths may part,
But the bond we share remains in the heart.
Memories woven with threads of gold,
In the tapestry of life, stories untold.

In times of joy and times of sorrow,
We find strength in the love we borrow.
Cousins by chance, friends by choice,
In each other’s presence, we rejoice.
