In fields of gold she danced, a maiden bright,
Her laughter echoed through the days and nights.
The earth rejoiced beneath her gentle tread,
As flowers bloomed whereâer her footsteps led.
But shadows fell upon that golden land,
When Hades took her by his chilling hand.
To realms below, where light is but a dream,
She journeyed on, beneath the river’s gleam.
In darkness deep, she found a throne of stone,
A crown of pomegranates she did own.
Yet in her heart, the seeds of sorrow grew,
For every bite, a bond to what she knew.
And so the seasons turn with her return,
When spring and summer through her grace do burn.
But winter’s chill, and autumn’s gentle fade,
Recall the girl who in both worlds has stayed.
