The Silent Veil: Shadows of Identity and Hidden Smiles

Poetry Image

Beneath the fabric, a world concealed,
Whispers echo in the quiet night.
Eyes, the only windows, reveal,
Stories wrapped in layers, out of sight.

Each thread a secret, tightly spun,
Faces change, yet remain the same.
The mask a shield from the blazing sun,
Guarding the heart’s unspoken name.

In crowded rooms, we wear the guise,
Pretending laughter, hiding tears.
Behind the mask, a thousand lies,
Shielding our hopes, fueling our fears.

When the world demands a different face,
We dance a dance of hidden grace.
Yet in the mirror, truth remains,
A maskless soul, breaking the chains.
