The Silent Veil: A Reflection on Wearing a Mask in a World of Hidden Faces

Poetry Image

Beneath the fabric, stories unfold,
A hidden world of silence untold.
Eyes speak where lips cannot,
In every gaze, a secret sought.

The mask, a barrier, yet a shield,
Protecting hearts, yet truths concealed.
Behind each layer, whispers reside,
The fears, the hopes, we cannot hide.

In crowded streets, we walk alone,
Faces covered, identities unknown.
Yet in this solitude, we find a thread,
A shared journey where words are unsaid.

When the night falls, and masks are shed,
We dream of days where none are led.
To a world where smiles are free,
And the air we breathe is unity.
