The Silent Symphony of Unrequited Love

Poetry Image

In the hush of twilight’s gentle embrace,
I whisper your name to the silent night,
A melody of dreams that never took flight,
Echoes of love that time cannot erase.

Your eyes, a distant star in my endless sky,
Shine with a light I’ll never hold near,
Their warmth a memory, crystal clear,
Yet in your gaze, my hopes softly sigh.

I pen these verses with unseen ink,
Words that dance on the edge of despair,
Each line a testament to the love I dared,
A heart that beats where yours won’t sink.

In the garden of dreams, I plant each thought,
Hoping someday they might bloom in your heart,
But seasons change, and we’re worlds apart,
A love unreturned, yet endlessly sought.
