The Silent Struggle: When Friends Push Too Hard

Poetry Image

In shadows where whispers grow,
A timid heart begins to slow,
The weight of words, a heavy chain,
In friendship’s name, disguised as gain.

The laughter hides a deeper pain,
A silent struggle, hard to explain,
In circles tight, the pressure builds,
A soul in turmoil, slowly killed.

To be oneself, a distant dream,
Lost within the social scheme,
The quest for truth, a constant fight,
Beneath the peer-imposed spotlight.

Yet hope remains, a distant star,
Guiding hearts from where they are,
To find the strength to stand alone,
And claim the path that’s truly their own.
