The Silent Screams Within Four Walls

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, shadows creep,
Behind closed doors, secrets we keep.
Whispers of pain, a heart silently weeps,
The scars of violence, buried so deep.

A hand that once caressed, now strikes,
Love turned to fear, in darkest nights.
The eyes that once sparkled, now dim,
A soul fighting, on the edge, so slim.

Broken dreams and shattered trust,
In a home where love turns to dust.
The echoes of anger, a haunting sound,
In this prison, where hope is drowned.

Yet through the darkness, a light can break,
A voice can rise, a heart can awake.
Courage to flee, to find a new dawn,
To reclaim life, where love is reborn.
