The Silent Screams of a Fractured Soul

Poetry Image

In the shadows where no light dares to tread,
Lies a heart bruised, torn, and bled.
Words like daggers, actions like chains,
In silent screams, a soul remains.

Beneath the surface, a storm does brew,
Eyes that once sparkled now clouded in blue.
Trust shattered, hope turned to dust,
In the grip of fear, love is unjust.

Nights are long, with endless dread,
Dreams of peace, forever fled.
A whispered cry, a muted plea,
Bound by sorrow, longing to be free.

Yet in the dark, a flicker of light,
Courage to battle, to stand and fight.
For every tear, a strength anew,
The dawn will come, breaking through.
