The Silent Screams of a Broken Heart

Poetry Image

In the corridors of my mind, shadows creep,
Whispers of sorrow, secrets they keep,
A heart once whole, now torn apart,
Pain’s cold grip, a relentless art.

Tears fall silently, a river unseen,
Memories haunt, in the spaces between,
Night’s embrace, a solace sought,
Yet pain remains, a lesson taught.

Dreams of joy, now distant and gray,
Hope’s fragile light, seems to sway,
In the depths of despair, I find my place,
Pain’s cruel hand, a familiar face.

Yet in this darkness, a spark may rise,
From the ashes of hurt, strength lies,
For even in pain, there’s a chance to mend,
To find peace, and let the healing begin.
