The Silent Scream of the Heart

Poetry Image

In the shadows of the night, I lie awake,
The echoes of your words still sharp, they ache.
Each breath a whisper of forgotten dreams,
Beneath the weight of pain, my spirit screams.

The stars above, indifferent to my plight,
They blink and shimmer, cold and out of sight.
My heart, a vessel of unspoken grief,
Yearns for solace, for a sweet relief.

Tears like raindrops on a windowpane,
Trace the lines of sorrow, mark the strain.
In silence, I embrace the darkened night,
Seeking comfort in the absence of light.

Yet hope flickers like a distant flame,
A fragile promise in this endless game.
For even in the depths of darkest hurt,
The heart finds strength to rise from the dirt.
