The Silent Erosion: A Tale of Drug Abuse’s Grasp on Dreams

Poetry Image

In the shadows of the moonlight’s gleam,
Lies a tale of shattered dreams.
Where hope once danced in eyes so bright,
Now darkness reigns, consuming light.

Whispers of promises, laced in deceit,
A path of pain beneath the feet.
The silent scream, the soul’s lament,
In the grip of a cruel torment.

Once a beacon, now a blur,
A life entangled in a dark allure.
The heartbeats echo, slow and frail,
As dreams dissolve, and spirits pale.

Yet in the depths, a spark remains,
A glimmer of hope amidst the chains.
To break free from the abyss of despair,
And find the strength to repair.
