The Silent Embrace of Winter Solstice

Poetry Image

When the night is longest, and the stars are bright,
Winter’s breath whispers through the silent night.
The earth stands still in a cold, tranquil dance,
Wrapped in a blanket of frost by chance.

Trees stand bare, their branches reach high,
Against the canvas of a deep, dark sky.
The moon’s soft glow, so tender and light,
Guides us through the solstice night.

In the stillness, a promise is made,
That light will return, it will not fade.
The cycle of seasons, ever so grand,
Continues its journey across the land.

So we gather close, in warmth and cheer,
Embracing the magic of this time of year.
The winter solstice, a time to reflect,
On nature’s beauty and its perfect effect.
