The Silent Echoes of Yesterday’s Dreams Unspoken

Poetry Image

In the quiet shadows where memories dwell,
Lies the echo of laughter, the whisper of pain,
A tapestry woven with threads of farewell,
Where the heartbeats of yesteryears softly remain.

The gentle caress of the once-felt embrace,
Now a phantom touch in the chill of the night,
Leaves a hollow ache, a lingering trace,
Of love’s bright flame that faded from sight.

In the solitude of the midnight hour,
When the world sleeps, and silence is deep,
I find solace in the tears that shower,
For in grief, I find the courage to weep.

Yet through the veil of sorrow, hope peeks,
A tender reminder that love never ends,
For in the heart’s quiet chambers, it speaks,
Of the bonds that time and space transcends.
