The Silent Echo of Grief

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, shadows dance,
Whispers of memories in a mournful trance.
The heart aches for what once was,
A silent echo, a gentle pause.

Tears fall like rain on a desolate sea,
Each drop a reminder of what used to be.
The pain, a constant, unyielding thief,
Stealing moments, leaving only grief.

Time moves on, but the sorrow stays,
A lingering ghost in the light of days.
Hope feels distant, a fleeting dream,
Lost in the depths of a silent scream.

Yet in the darkness, a spark may glow,
A hint of solace in the undertow.
For even in grief, love remains,
A beacon of light through the darkest pains.
