In the stillness of our shared breaths, I ponder
Where did the laughter fade, the warmth stray?
Our hands once clasped so tight now wander
In separate paths, like night and day.
Conversations lost in echoes, we drift
Eyes that once sparkled now seem distant
Words that once healed now seem to rift
Leaving us stranded, in time’s persistent.
The love that once bloomed in radiant hues
Now falters in shades of gray and blue
Hearts once synchronized in perfect cues
Now beat in rhythms far and few.
Can we find our way back, rekindle the light?
Or are we fated to forever roam,
Lost in the twilight of endless night
Searching for a place to call home?
