The Silent Dash Between Life and Death’s Embrace

Poetry Image

In the quiet of night, where whispers roam,
Lies a journey unmarked, between cradle and tomb.
A line unseen but felt in every breath,
It dances in shadows, this dash of death.

From the dawn of a heartbeat’s gentle start,
To the dusk where silence claims the heart,
Between the moments of laughter and tears,
Lies the mystery of life’s fleeting years.

The dash, a thread woven in time’s vast sea,
Holds stories untold, of what was and will be.
In its brevity, a universe unfolds,
Whispering secrets only the stillness holds.

So let us cherish the dash we tread,
For in its brevity, we are truly wed.
To the essence of life, in its gentle sway,
Until the final breath leads us away.
