The Silent Dance of Kings and Queens

Poetry Image

On a board of black and white,
Where silence speaks of might,
The pawns advance with steady grace,
In this timeless, sacred space.

Knights leap in arcs so fine,
Bishops cut through diagonal lines,
Castles stand with fortress pride,
As strategies in shadows hide.

The queen, with power vast and grand,
Moves with elegance, commands the land,
While the king, in cautious stride,
Seeks solace, with guards by his side.

Infinite battles, yet no blood is shed,
Minds clash in this intellectual thread,
In the silent dance of thought and will,
The game of chess, a timeless thrill.
