The Silent Cry of a Sunken Dream

Poetry Image

Beneath the waves, where shadows play,
Lies the vessel of dreams, now cast away.
Once it soared on the ocean’s crest,
Now it rests in the deep, in eternal rest.

The stars once guided its hopeful course,
But fate intervened with ruthless force.
The sails torn, the hull breached wide,
Its journey ended, swallowed by the tide.

Echoes of laughter, whispers of fear,
All fade into silence, no longer near.
Barnacles cling to the wooden bones,
As the sea claims it, making it its own.

In the abyss, it finds its peace,
A maritime grave, where sorrows cease.
The ship’s death, a tale untold,
Of dreams that vanished in the cold.
