The Silent Cries of the Unheard

Poetry Image

In shadows deep where justice sleeps,
The cries of many go unheard,
Beneath the weight of silent weeps,
Their voices lost, their hearts deferred.

The scales are tipped, the blindfold torn,
Injustice reigns in cold disdain,
The weak and poor, their spirits worn,
Left counting loss and endless pain.

The powerful stand tall and proud,
Their conscience buried deep in lies,
While in the streets, the anguished crowd,
With empty hands and tearful eyes.

Yet hope persists, a flicker bright,
Within the hearts of those who fight,
For justice, truth, and equal rights,
To end the wrongs and mend the blight.
