The Silent Cries of Broken Souls

Poetry Image

In the shadows of the night, whispers turn to screams,
Hearts once filled with love, now shattered by dreams.
The cruel hand of violence, leaves marks unseen,
Echoes of despair, on faces once serene.

The innocent eyes that once sparkled bright,
Now dimmed by fear, shrouded from the light.
A touch that was gentle, now brings only pain,
In a world where peace seems hard to attain.

Hushed cries in the dark, longing for release,
From the chains of torment, yearning for peace.
The soul seeks refuge, in the midst of strife,
Dreaming of a world where love conquers life.

Yet through the darkness, a flicker remains,
A hope for healing, to break these chains.
For every broken soul, a chance to mend,
In the arms of compassion, may violence end.
