The Silent Cries of a City Unheard

Poetry Image

In the shadows of towering steel,
Where dreams are woven and often torn,
Voices whisper, yet remain concealed,
In the city where hope and despair are born.

Children play on cracked concrete dreams,
Their laughter mingles with silent fears,
As the world rushes past their unseen streams,
And time etches stories in their tears.

Beneath the glimmer of neon lights,
Homeless souls seek warmth in the night,
Invisible in the bustle of rights,
Their stories fade in society’s sight.

Yet in the silence, a question remains,
Will we listen, will we change?
For in the echoes of their unheard pains,
Lies the power of love to rearrange.
