The Silent Cries: A Reflection on Intentional Injuries

Poetry Image

In shadows cast by unseen hands,
Where silence screams in muted lands,
The echoes of a broken trust,
Lay hidden in the choking dust.

A whispered plea, a tearless night,
Beneath the stars that shun their light,
The pain that hides behind closed doors,
A battle fought in endless wars.

With every scar and every bruise,
A story told, a life to lose,
Intentions masked in cruel disguise,
The truth obscured by whispered lies.

Yet in the dawn, a hope appears,
To heal the wounds and dry the tears,
For every heart that’s torn and scarred,
A chance to mend, to love, to guard.
