The Silent Cries: A Home’s Hidden Shadows

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners where shadows fall,
A voice whispers softly, yet unheard,
Walls hold secrets, echoing the call,
Of a heart trapped, wings deterred.
The gentle facade of a loving embrace,
Masks the storm that rages inside,
Eyes speak volumes, yet leave no trace,
Of the silent tears they’ve cried.
Bruises hidden beneath fragile skin,
Tell tales of battles fought in vain,
The soul yearns for peace within,
Amidst the relentless rain.
But hope flickers in the darkest night,
A promise of freedom, of a brighter day,
In unity, we find the strength to fight,
To break the chains, to pave the way.
