The Silent Chains That Bind the Heart and Soul

Poetry Image

In shadows cast, where whispers dwell,Unseen scars begin to swell,The gentle voice that once was kind,Now echoes harsh, in heart confined.Words like daggers, pierce the night,In the silence, a muted fight,The gentle touch that turns to stone,Leaves the spirit lost, alone.A smile that hides the storm within,Behind closed doors, where fears begin,The laughter fades, replaced by tears,In the quiet, linger fears.Yet hope remains, a distant light,To break the chains, embrace the night,A whispered strength to rise anew,To find the path and journey through.
