The Silent Chains of Sexism’s Shadows

Poetry Image

In shadows deep where whispers lie,
The chains of old still bind the sky.
Equality, a distant dream,
In silence, voices fight unseen.

Beneath the weight of prejudice,
The heart beats on in quietness.
A struggle veiled, yet fierce and true,
For justice sought, a world anew.

The scars of time on souls remain,
A testament to silent pain.
Yet through the dark, a glimmer bright,
Of hope that shines, of equal light.

Together, rise above the haze,
To break the chains, to end the maze.
For in unity, strength is found,
To lift the veil and heal the wound.
