The Silent Anticipation of Advent’s Dawn

Poetry Image

In twilight’s gentle embrace, we wait,
For dawn’s light to pierce the night.
Hearts brimming with hope, never late,
As whispers of joy take flight.

Candles flicker, a beacon bright,
Marking days till the promise fulfilled.
Each flame a prayer in the quiet night,
For love and peace to be instilled.

The world in hush, a sacred pause,
Anticipation woven in the air.
Seasons change, yet remain the cause,
Of faith and love beyond compare.

With every breath, we draw it near,
The day when light will reign.
Advent calls us, year by year,
To remember, to hope, to remain.
