The Silence Echoes: When a Friend Departs

Poetry Image

In the quiet dawn, your laughter fades,
A whisper lost in the morning haze.
Memories linger, like shadows they stay,
In the heart’s corners, where light cannot sway.

Your absence, a void, an unspoken tear,
In the tapestry of life, so painfully clear.
Yet, in the silence, your voice I still hear,
A gentle reminder, that you were once near.

The days stretch long, the nights are cold,
In dreams, your stories are quietly told.
A friend now gone, but never old,
In our hearts, your spirit we hold.

Though death has taken, it cannot claim,
The love that burns, an eternal flame.
In our laughter, in our pain,
Your presence lives, again and again.
