The Shadows Within: A Journey Through Deep Depression

Poetry Image

In the depths of night, where shadows cling,
A soul once bright now feels the sting.
The weight of sorrow, heavy and vast,
In silent whispers, it holds me fast.

The light seems distant, a fleeting dream,
As tears cascade, a silent stream.
Each breath a struggle, each step a chore,
In the void, I search for more.

Memories of joy, now faded and pale,
Lost in a storm, a relentless gale.
The echo of laughter, now but a ghost,
In this darkness, I feel it most.

Yet in the murk, a flicker remains,
A hope, a whisper, amidst the pains.
For even in despair, a spark can ignite,
A path to dawn, from the endless night.
