The Shadows of Perception: Unveiling Bias and Prejudice

Poetry Image

In the quiet whispers of the mind,
Where shadows dance in subtle play,
Lies a world we seldom find,
A tapestry of night and day.

Through lenses tinted by our fears,
We judge the faces we perceive,
Building walls with whispered sneers,
In stories we choose to believe.

Yet beneath the surface, hearts reside,
Pulsing with dreams, much like our own,
A common thread we can’t divide,
In every seed that’s ever sown.

Let us break these chains of thought,
Unravel truths from tangled lies,
For in each soul a light is caught,
A shared horizon in our skies.
