In the depths where shadows dance,
Nightmares weave a haunting trance.
The mind, a canvas, dark and wide,
Paints fears that in the daylight hide.
Whispers echo through the void,
Dreams of peace are thus destroyed.
Chilling visions, cold and stark,
Lurk within the endless dark.
Eyes that plead for morningâs light,
Trapped within the endless night.
Silent screams and muted cries,
Lost beneath the moonlit skies.
Awake with trembling, fleeting breath,
Escaping from the grip of death.
Yet shadows linger, close behind,
The nightmares haunt the sleepless mind.
