“The Shadows of Discrimination”

Poetry Image

In the silent whispers of the night
Where dreams are meant to take their flight
There lies a shadow, cold and deep
Staining souls, making them weep

It hides in words, in deeds unseen
In looks that cut, in hearts unclean
A poison spreading, slow but sure
Turning love to something impure

The chains of judgment, heavy and tight
Bind the spirit, dim the light
Yet in the darkness, hope remains
A spark of fire, breaking the chains

Together we’ll rise, hand in hand
To build a world, where love will stand
No more shadows, no more lies
Just open hearts and clearer skies
