The Shadowed Mirror: Reflections on Narcissistic Abuse

Poetry Image

In the quiet halls of heart and mind,
A shadow dances, cruel and blind.
Whispers echo, sweet yet cold,
Promising warmth, but leaving the soul sold.

Beneath the surface, a facade so bright,
Lies a tempest, hidden from sight.
Words like honey, actions like chains,
Binding the spirit in silent pains.

A mirror cracked, yet still it shows,
The fractured self that nobody knows.
Yearning for love, a desperate plea,
Lost in the maze of “you” and “me.”

Rise from the ashes, reclaim the day,
Find the strength to walk away.
In the truth, let courage bloom,
Escape the shadow, embrace the room.
