The Quiet Release of Love’s Embrace

Poetry Image

In the silence of the setting sun,
Where shadows stretch and day is done,
I find the strength to let you go,
Though my heart whispers soft and low.

Memories like autumn leaves fall,
Each one a tale, a cherished call,
But seasons change, and winds must blow,
So I release, and let you flow.

The moonlight bathes the world in grace,
A gentle touch, your fleeting trace,
I’ll hold the moments, bright and true,
Yet let the night reclaim its due.

For love is not a cage, my dear,
But wings that lift us, free and clear,
I’ll cherish all we used to know,
And find the beauty in letting go.
