In the shadows where hope fades away,
And dreams dissolve like mist in dawn,
I find a silence, deep and gray,
A place where all my fears are drawn.
I’ve walked a road of endless night,
With burdens heavy, hearts so torn,
The stars above, they lost their light,
As I, in darkness, stood forlorn.
To give up is to find release,
From chains that bind the weary soul,
And in surrender, find a peace,
A letting go to become whole.
So here I stand, with open hands,
Embracing what I cannot change,
For in the quiet, life expands,
And through surrender, Iâll arrange.
