The Paradox of Love and Resentment: When the Heart Betrays Its Own Affection, A Tale of Contradiction and Pain, Torn Between Love and Loathing

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, I ponder,
How love so pure turned into thunder.
Once a gentle whisper, now a storm,
A heart divided, in conflict born.

Your touch once filled my soul with light,
Now shadows cast in the dead of night.
Memories sweet now taste so bitter,
Love’s warm glow turned cold and wither.

How cruel the fate that binds us still,
In tangled web of love and ill.
Eyes that once reflected dreams,
Now mirror shattered, broken schemes.

Yet in the depths of this despair,
A spark of hope lingers there.
For in the ashes of our strife,
Lies the essence of love’s true life.
