The Mirror’s Cruel Reflection: Trapped in Shadows of Self-Hate, The Echoes of Inner Strife, Battling the Dark Within

Poetry Image

In the stillness of night, where shadows creep,
I find myself lost in the depths so deep.
The mirror’s cruel reflection stares back at me,
A visage marred by doubts, longing to be free.

Each flaw magnified, each imperfection bared,
The whispers of despair, a burden shared.
In the silence, I hear the echoes of my cry,
Struggling to find the strength to defy.

The darkness within, a battle I fight,
Seeking a glimpse of hope, a ray of light.
Yet the shadows persist, relentless and cold,
Binding my spirit in a suffocating hold.

But in the heart of the storm, a spark remains,
A sliver of courage that breaks the chains.
Through the haze of sorrow, I begin to see,
The path to self-love, where I can be free.
