The Masks We Wear: Deception’s Dance and Shadows of Truth

Poetry Image

In the shadows where secrets dwell,
Lies craft their tales with silver tongue.
Veils of truth begin to swell,
As the song of deceit is softly sung.

Mirrors reflect a fractured guise,
Crafted smiles hide whispered fears.
Through the echoes of silent cries,
We wander lost in a world of mirrors.

Glimpses of sincerity fade away,
In a labyrinth of tangled threads.
Promises made to slowly decay,
Where honesty and pretense wed.

Yet beneath the guise, the heart still beats,
Yearning for light, for clarity’s grace.
Amidst the charade, truth quietly seeks,
A way to unveil each hidden face.
